​Starting from Thursday 2nd July 2020, I’m doing a video preaching series on Mark’s gospel. I will regularly post videos under teaching videos on this site, on youtube and facebook. I hope to finish the series by Easter 2021 with the Resurrection of Jesus described in Mark chapter 16. Later in the year I hope to publish the text of these talks as a bible study book with study questions. I believe that Mark was the first of the gospels in our New Testament. Mark was a companion of Peter who acted as a kind of secretary to Peter and this gospel is based on what the Apostle Peter preached.

On this site I will also post theological teaching videos and articles associated with my books and ongoing study.

I am doing this because I believe there is a widespread hunger in the Church for good biblical teaching. Some people visiting this site will know me well from churches I’ve led in the past, others may have just found their way here looking for teaching. Let me assure you, behind everything I preach is my absolute trust in the Inspiration and Authority of Scripture. I also believe that the Holy Spirit wants to do a work of revival of the church in our time. We live at a time of great need to know the truth about Jesus and the gospel and to be secure in it. I hope you find this site helpful in knowing and following Him.
Much this is Rushden Hall and park where I also spend time most days. The hall is Elizabethan, I think. Some of the trees in this park are just amazing!

Much of my thinking and praying is done while I'm out walking on my own. This is one of the views on a walk, in the countryside near my home, that I've been doing since I was a child.
